Healthy Travel Snacks: Protein Bites Recipe

Whether you’re setting sail, taking flight or hitting the road this summer, you’ll need to pack some yummy snacks to enjoy along the way. Keeping healthy snacks on hand is especially important when traveling with kids. These wholesome peanut butter travel protein bites are easy to make and taste delicious.

Travel Protein Bites
Ingredients

2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup extra-crunchy peanut butter
½ cup raw honey
½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup mini chocolate chips (milk chocolate or semi sweet)
2 tbsp. chia seeds

Directions

Pulse all ingredients in a food processor until fully combined. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Form 1.5” balls using the mixture and place on a baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Pack protein bites in an airtight plastic container for a delicious and easy travel snack.
