Souvenir DIY: Postcard Photo Album

Who doesn’t love flipping through a photo album filled with vacation memories? Here’s an easy, inexpensive, DIY alternative to storebought photo albums. See how anyone can make a vacation keepsake using printed photos, a hole punch, binder rings and a couple of postcards!

How to Make a Postcard Photo Album

Supplies:

• Postcards
• Printed photos
• Hole punch
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Binder rings

Instructions:

1. To find the spots where holes will be punched in each of the photos and postcards, first mark their placement on one of the postcards, along the long edge. Take one of the postcards and measure about 1.5 inches from the two shorter sides. Use the pencil to make two marks where holes will be punched; these will be about 2 inches apart.
2. Use the hole punch to make two holes in the marked postcard, about 1/4 inch in from the edge.
3. Use the punched postcard as a template to mark where the holes will be punched in the remaining photos and postcards, aligning the edges where the holes will be punched.
4. Punch each item where it is marked.
5. Add each photo and postcard to the rings in the order they should appear.
