Cuando devuelve el vehículo de alquiler fuera del horario de atención de la sucursal de alquiler, debe estacionar el vehículo en un  espacio de estacionamiento asignado a Alamo, seguir los carteles de la carretera (Devolución de automóviles alquilados) del Aeropuerto de Ámsterdam-Schiphol y cerrar con llave el vehículo. Luego debe colocar las llaves en el buzón que se encuentra en el mostrador de Alamo dentro del terminal.

The minimum age requirement to rent all vehicles is 25. The maximum age to rent is 80. Renters between the age of 18 and 24 may rent all categories except Full Size, Premium, Luxury and Special. No additional fees apply to young drivers.

Vehicles can be driven in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Italy, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the Vatican (Area 1). Any islands are excluded from cross border travels. Travels to Norway and Sweden are only permitted between 1st May and 30th September. On request vehicles may also be driven in Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia (Area 2).
Standard, Fullsize, Premium, Luxury & Special vehicles as well as the brands Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen are not permitted to go into Area 2. A surcharge of 5.00 EUR per day excl. VAT (21%) will apply for all cross border travels to Area 2. Prior authorization to leave the country with the vehicle is not required except when traveling to countries in Area 2. Driving the vehicle into any unauthorized country without prior authorization is a breach of contract and will require the customer to pay for all recovery expenses.

Collision Damage Waiver And Theft Protection (CDWTP) is an optional coverage which reduces liability in the event of damage or theft of the vehicle when no responsible third party is identified. If purchased or included in the rate the deductible for the car categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard and Full-Size is 900 EUR, for the car categories Full Size SUV, Premium and Luxury is 1200 EUR and for Special vehicle category is 3000 EUR.
This product only covers damages to the body of the vehicle. It does not cover roof, tires, or windows, broken/loss of keys, or contamination of fuel. Damage to the underbody and/or roof due to collision with bridges, tunnels, overhanging structures, etc. is excluded from the damage cover unless a force majeure can be proved.
Before purchasing CDWTP it is advisable to determine if the renter personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage, or impound fees. If CDWTP is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. CDWTP is not insurance.

For all reservations, there is a lead time of 1 hour from the time the booking is made before it is confirmed. All vehicles will be held for up to half an hour after the scheduled pick-up time during opening hours. If you are running late, please contact the branch to make them aware.

All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it was collected from will be subject to a one-way fee. The one-way fee varies based on car category, location, and pick-up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, desired route, and car category. For all one-way rentals (domestic or international) authorization must be obtained either prior to arrival or at the rental counter. If the hirer returns the vehicle one way without authorization or returns the vehicle to any other location than the return location reflected on their rental agreement, an additional repatriation fee will be charged.
Domestic one-way drop-offs are available between rental branches in the Netherlands. International one-way drop-offs are possible at selected Airports branches in Belgium, France, Germany, and Luxembourg only.

All-season tires are available to purchase at time of pick-up on a limited number of car categories between 1 November and 31 March for a daily charge of 21,00 Euro and maximum 210,00 Euro per rental. In cases of loss or damage a replacement fee of up to 3500,00 Euro applies. If travelling cross border all-season tires may be a legal requirement. Please check with the rental branch at time of rental.

All major credit cards, issued by either American Express, Mastercard, Visa and Diners Club are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name and must be valid for the duration of the rental. Digital cards (Apple Pay/Google Pay etc.), travellers checks, prepaid cards, cash, debit cards and retail store cards are not accepted as methods of payment.

A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental, or in the case of pre-paid reservations, a security deposit plus the total amount of ancillaries purchased at the counter. For Luxury and Special vehicles two major credit cards in the main driver's name are required for security purposes. The deposit amounts based on vehicle category and protection products selected/included are listed below:

Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate and Standard vehicles categories:

Full Size vehicles category:

No Damage Waiver included or selected - Rental amount plus 1200 EUR security deposit

Collision Damage Waiver (CDWTP), Collision Damage Waiver Super Cover (CDWS) or Collision Damage Waiver Top Cover (CDWT) - Rental amount plus 600 EUR security deposit

Premium, and Luxury Vehicles categories:

No Damage Waiver included or selected, Collision Damage Waiver (CDWTP), Collision Damage Waiver Super Cover (CDWS) or Collision Damage Waiver Top Cover (CDWT) - Rental amount plus 1200 EUR security deposit

Special vehicle category:

These amounts will be held on the credit card until the vehicle is returned and the final rental charge is debited. Any charges for damages, fines, taxes, penalties and the related administration fees accrued during the rental period will also be debited from the credit card after the return of the vehicle.

All drivers must present a fully valid driving license. Electronic or digital driving licenses are not accepted. All drivers must have held their license for at least 1 year. In addition, all renters must present a valid photo ID such as a passport or government-issued photo ID. A valid credit card in the renter's name must be presented upon collection of the vehicle. If the driving license is written in a language and characters different from those of the country of rental, an International Driving Permit is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.

Alamo proporciona un servicio de asistencia ante averías al cliente disponible 24/7. La Asistencia en el camino de ANWB administra este servicio. En el momento del alquiler, se proporcionará información específica sobre la Asistencia en el camino, incluido el número de teléfono de asistencia 24/7. La Asistencia en el camino se otorga con el alquiler de forma gratuita en caso de falla mecánica que no sea resultado de la negligencia ni de la conducta malintencionada del conductor.

Opción de Protección de asistencia en el camino PLUS de Alamo Rent-A-Car:
La Asistencia en el camino PLUS ofrece una cobertura adicional para los gastos de llamada* relacionados con averías causadas por culpa del conductor; pinchazos de neumáticos, batería, pérdida de llaves o llaves dentro del vehículo, falta de combustible, repostaje de combustible incorrecto o cambio de neumáticos*.
* Excluye el costo eventual para reparar el vehículo y cualquier costo de viaje para cambiar el vehículo.
Para beneficiarse de esta cobertura, el arrendatario debe comunicarse con el servicio de asistencia ante averías inmediatamente después de que ocurra el incidente. Si el arrendatario no se comunica con el servicio de asistencia ante averías o inicia gestiones o realiza desembolsos sin el consentimiento previo, no se aplicará la cobertura de Asistencia en el camino PLUS.

Un servicio de asistencia ante averías básico está incluido en el alquiler para cubrir llamadas por fallas mecánicas y accidentes.
Tarifa de la Asistencia en el camino PLUS: 6.50 EUR/día (IVA incluido).

All the vehicles in the Alamo fleet are insured against bodily injury and property damage that you might inflict on a third party as a result of an accident involving the vehicle. The amounts for such liability cover are available on request. In particular, you must comply with the rule concerning permitted destinations, as set out in the General Car Rental conditions of Alamo Rent-A-Car NL - in order to have the full benefit of the insurance provisions.
