Save time at the counter when you check-in online. That way we'll have your driver information and preferences ready when you arrive at the counter. You'll be on the road - and on vacation - before you know it!

Skip the rental counter lines and check-in directly by using Alamo's touch-screen kiosk. Check-in using the kiosk and a receipt-sized rental agreement is printed. You'll be directed to your rental car on the lot. At the exit booth, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driver's license - and simply drive away.

No need to visit the counter or kiosk.You can go straight to your car!

In order to take the advantage of this optional free service, you'll need to check-in online then choose the 'skip the counter' option. You will be required to confirm your protection options, agree to the Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions and enter a valid credit card (no charge is made until you return your vehicle). Simply print your rental agreement to bring with you, and you are all set! Go directly to your car, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driver's license - and get on the road!

Visit for a tour or during a concert or other event. You can reach Temple Square from the airport in a car journey of just over 7 miles.


Natural History Museum of Utah


Located on the University of Utah campus, the Natural History Museum of Utah is a sweeping museum featuring many exhibits about Utah and the mountainous region around the state. The journey from the airport is 12 miles if you take I-80 the entire way.


Big Cottonwood Canyon


Visit a spectacular scenic drive in the Wasatch Range, just a few miles outside Salt Lake City. A winding trail takes you through sweeping vistas and momentous peaks, offering you panoramic views of the breathtaking Utah landscape. Leave the airport and head south on I-215 for about 23 miles to get to Big Cottonwood Canyon Road.


Liberty Park


Liberty Park is an 80-acre park situated within the city itself. Here you'll discover many fantastic activities you can enjoy with your family, such as tennis courts, volleyball courts, and playgrounds. Pathways for walking and biking run throughout the park. It's 10 miles from the airport by car.


Red Butte Garden


This botanical garden, arboretum, and an amphitheater is next to the Natural History Museum of Utah, and it is worth taking an afternoon stroll through.
